QCU Partners’ Day 2025 Celebrates “RISE Together” for Stronger, Future-Ready Educational Partnerships
Under the theme “RISE Together: Strengthening Partnerships for Resilient, Innovative, and Stewardship-Driven Education,” Quezon City University successfully conducted its University Partners’ Day 2025 on December 10, 2025, bringing together key stakeholders from academe, government, industry, and the community. The event served as a meaningful platform to celebrate collaboration, reaffirm shared commitments, and recognize the collective role of partners in advancing quality, inclusive, and future-ready education.
The program was highlighted by the inspirational messages of Hon. Julienne Alyson Rae V. Medalla, Majority Floor Leader and City Councilor of the 2nd Legislative District of Quezon City, and Hon. Nicole Ella “Nikki” V. Crisologo, City Councilor of the 1st Legislative District and Chairperson of the Committee on Education, Science and Technology, both members of the QCU Board of Regents. Their messages underscored that sustained collaboration, responsive governance, and strong policy support are essential in empowering higher education institutions to respond to the evolving needs of learners and communities.
A highlight of the event was the recognition of QCU’s valued partners from various sectors, including Academic Partners, Institutional Partners, Industry Partners, and Community Partners. This acknowledgment underscored the University’s holistic partnership approach, where collaboration across sectors strengthens instruction, research, innovation, extension services, and community engagement initiatives.
Impactful testimonies were shared by Ms. Leonina Morillo, Executive Director of the PhilDev Foundation, on behalf of industry partners; Divine Grace G. Papa, BSIT alumna and UI/UX Designer at Hytec Power Inc., representing QCU alumni in industry; and Candid Summer Dayne C. Sanchez, a former out-of-school youth and community beneficiary now a 1st Year BS Entrepreneurship student of QCU, whose story reflected the life-changing impact of QCU’s programs.
