QCU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION CONDUCTS MOCK BOARD EXAMINATION FUTURE EDUCATORS

SDG 4 8

As part of its continuing commitment to academic excellence and professional preparation, the Quezon City University (QCU) College of Education conducted a Mock Board Examination for future teacher-licensure candidates in preparation for the upcoming professional licensure examination.

Held across Rooms IL601 to IL603, the activity gathered a total of 133 participants, composed of 127 Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) students and 6 completers of the 18-unit Professional Teaching Certificate Course.

Designed to simulate the actual licensure examination environment, the mock board examination provided participants with an opportunity to evaluate their academic preparedness, strengthen test-taking strategies, and identify areas that require further improvement before taking the board examination.

Throughout the activity, students were challenged to apply their acquired knowledge under timed conditions while experiencing the discipline and pressure associated with professional examinations. The initiative also served as a platform to build confidence, develop examination readiness, and reinforce the standards expected of future educators.

Faculty and organizers highlighted the importance of initiatives such as mock board examinations in shaping well-rounded education professionals by supporting not only academic competence but also mental preparedness and professional growth.

Through this initiative, the College of Education continues to uphold QCU’s commitment to producing competent, prepared, and future-ready educators as students move closer to achieving their goal of becoming licensed professional teachers.
