QCU-CCS Prepares Students for Innovation and Industry
The College of Computer Studies (CCS) of Quezon City University conducted its Capstone Project and On the Job Training Orientation on August 13, 2026, preparing students for the next stage of their academic journey in research, innovation, and industry immersion.
The orientation provided students with essential guidance on capstone project requirements, research methodologies, intellectual property protection, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) integration, final submission procedures, and OJT policies and documentation.
In her inspirational message, QCU President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza encouraged students to embrace innovation, pursue excellence, and maximize opportunities for growth throughout their capstone and internship experiences.
Faculty members and academic leaders also guided students through the processes necessary for the successful completion of their research projects and industry immersion. The discussions emphasized technical competence, creativity, critical thinking, professionalism, and social responsibility key qualities for future professionals in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
A key component of the orientation was the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals into capstone research, encouraging students to develop technology driven and research based solutions that address real world challenges and create meaningful impact in communities.
As CCS students begin their capstone projects and prepare for OJT placements, the College continues to challenge them to transform innovative ideas into practical solutions while gaining valuable industry experience.
