QCU Robotics Team Earns Quezon City Council Recognition for Global Robotics Achievement
The Quezon City University (QCU) Robotics Team was recognized by the Quezon City Council for its outstanding performance at the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, where teams QCU1-Alpha and QCU2-Beta proudly represented QCU and the Philippines on the global stage.
The recognition was conferred during the 73rd Regular Session of the 23rd Quezon City Council, through Resolution No. SP-10700, S-2026, extending the Quezon City Government’s sincerest congratulations to the QCU Robotics Team for its international participation and achievement.
The resolution recognized the team for demonstrating resilience, technical expertise, innovation, teamwork, and competitive excellence while competing alongside teams from internationally recognized institutions.
The recognition highlights the talent, dedication, and ingenuity of QCU’s student innovators and mentors, whose efforts continue to bring pride to the University and the City of Quezon.
The QCU Robotics Team’s participation in the international competition also reflects the University’s commitment to providing students with opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in technology and innovation while gaining experience in globally competitive environments.
