QCU Hosts DSWD Cash-for-Work Payout and Beneficiary Development Session
Quezon City University (QCU), in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), conducted the Cash for Work (CFW) Program payout for college graduates and student beneficiaries on July 21, 2026, at the University’s Main Campus Administration Building.
The payout covered compensation for June 2026 and was preceded by an orientation from DSWD representatives, who discussed the program’s objectives and guided beneficiaries through the payout process. The CFW Program provides temporary financial assistance while offering participants meaningful community-based work experience that helps develop responsibility, discipline, and workplace readiness.
The activity also featured a Kamustahan Session, where Ms. Rose Ann Catipunan, QCU Focal Person, welcomed the participants and recognized their commitment and efforts throughout the program. Facilitated by Ms. Cindy Jongco, the session encouraged beneficiaries to reflect on their experiences, share insights, and recognize the knowledge, skills, and personal growth they gained from participating in the initiative.
Beyond providing financial support for educational and daily expenses, the program promoted responsible financial management and strengthened participants’ preparedness for future employment. Through initiatives such as the CFW Program, QCU continues to support student development by fostering employability, community engagement, and lifelong learning in partnership with government agencies.
