QCU, Hapinoy Equip Participants with Practical AI Skills through AI Can Work! Training

AT1NDAHAN (Hapinoy), in partnership with Quezon City University (QCU), successfully conducted the AI Can Work! Training Practical AI Skills for Work and Productivity on 28 July 2026 at the LB503 Computer Laboratory, QCU Main Campus.

The training featured two sessions designed to strengthen participants’ digital competencies and practical use of artificial intelligence in the workplace. Ms. Ma. Leonora Evangelista, Hapiskwela Trainer, facilitated the morning session for Quezon City University employees, while Mr. James Dean Villamor, Hapiskwela Trainer, led the afternoon session for members of the Quezon City Ladies Foundation Inc. The activity was also attended by Ms. Maricar Dela Rosa, Hapinoy Project Head.

Representing the Quezon City Ladies Foundation Inc, Ms. Carmencita V. Medalla expressed the Foundation’s appreciation to QCU and Hapinoy for providing its members with practical AI training. She shared the Foundation’s commitment to continuously enhancing digital literacy and equipping QCLadies with future ready skills.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mark Joaquin Ruiz, President of Hapinoy, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to making AI education more accessible through partnerships that empower communities with future ready digital skills.

In her closing message, QCU President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza expressed her gratitude to Hapinoy for its partnership and emphasized the University’s commitment to collaborative initiatives that advance innovation, lifelong learning, and positive social impact.

The AI Can Work! Training is a collaborative initiative of the QCU Extension Management Office, Human Resource Management Department – Training and Development Unit, and the Center for Gender and Development, in partnership with AT1NDAHAN (Hapinoy).
