Unity Parade and Flag Ceremony Launch QCU’s 32nd Foundation Week Activities

Students, faculty members, and university officials participated in a unity parade and flag ceremony on March 2, 2026, as part of the opening activities for Quezon City University’s 32nd Foundation Week.

Following the Thanksgiving Mass, participants marched across the campus carrying banners and wearing coordinated colors representing their respective colleges. The parade symbolized school pride and unity as the QCU community kicked off a week of festivities and competitions.

After the parade, a flag ceremony was conducted to reinforce the spirit of patriotism and solidarity among attendees. As part of the program, the lighting of the torch, symbolizing the official start of the university’s foundation week celebration, was led by Nazarena Faye A. Magallanes.

Board of Regents Member and District 5 Councilor Ram Medalla served as guest speaker during the ceremony. In his message, he congratulated the university for its 32 years of service in providing accessible and quality education to the youth of Quezon City.

Medalla also commended QCU for its continuous growth and its contributions to the development of the local community.

The parade, flag ceremony, and torch lighting signaled the official start of the university’s week-long foundation celebration.
