Quezon City University (QCU) conducted its Institutional Development Plan (IDP) 2026–2031 Pre-Planning Workshop on July 31, 2025, one of the preparatory sessions leading to the finalization of the new strategic plan and a follow-through to the strategic planning exercise held in 2024.

The workshop session held at QCU, Room 304-Bautista Building was facilitated by the REPL- Research Management Office and Institutional Planning Office, began with a review of QCU’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values, centering on three objectives: reviewing the proposed IDP objectives and indicators, fostering inclusive participation among stakeholders, and refining strategies to ensure that institutional goals are both ambitious and achievable.

The proposed draft IDP, developed with contributions from all academic and administrative units, was then presented for consultation. It features a data-driven framework, collaboratively set targets, and seven strategic goals, which include advancing curriculum standards, strengthening faculty development, enhancing infrastructure, and deepening community engagement. Additional sessions will be conducted to refine the new IDP.

By engaging stakeholders at this stage, the pre-planning outputs will help refine QCU’s strategic objectives and performance indicators, ensuring that the IDP is both visionary and responsive to institutional realities. The final version of the IDP 2026–2031 is expected to be confirmed in September 2025.
