QC Launches Community-Based Mental Health Program

SDG 3 10

Mental health care is now more accessible than ever for QCitizens!

The Quezon City Government has officially launched its Community-Based Mental Health Program, bringing essential mental health services closer to every community by integrating them into all city health centers. This shift from hospital-based to community-based care ensures easier access to free mental health screening, counseling, referral services, and maintenance medicines.

Mental Wellness Access Hubs (MWAH) have also been established in each district to provide enhanced care. These hubs are open every Tuesday and Thursday for anyone in need of additional support.

FREE maintenance medicines available (with prescription) at your local health center or barangay include:

  • Clozapine 100mg
  • Biperiden 2mg
  • Chlorpromazine 100mg
  • Lithium Carbonate 450mg
  • Sertraline 50mg
  • Escitalopram Oxalate 10mg
  • Quetiapine 200mg
  • Valproic Acid

Visit your health center Monday to Friday to avail these services.

To find the nearest Mental Wellness Access Hub or for more information, contact or visit the Quezon City Health Department (QCHD).

Together, let’s prioritize mental wellness in our communities.
