67 Future Educators Honored in QCU’s First Professional Teaching Certificate Completion Ceremony
On February 19, 2026, a defining milestone unfolded at the QCU San Bartolome Campus Auditorium as Quezon City University (QCU) honored the First 18 Units Professional Teaching Certificate Course Completers. Guided by the theme, “Shaping Future Educators: Commitment, Competence, and Service,” the ceremony marked a historic step in preparing a new generation of dedicated, competent, and service-driven educators.
With pride and admiration, the University celebrated 67 aspiring educators who successfully completed the program, demonstrating unwavering dedication, resilience, and a deep commitment to the teaching profession. Their achievement represents more than academic accomplishment—it reflects a calling embraced, a purpose ignited, and a promise to shape lives and strengthen communities through the transformative power of education.
The ceremony formally opened with welcome remarks from College of Education Dean Dr. Randel F. Estacio, who recognized the completers’ perseverance and readiness to take on the noble responsibility of teaching. University President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza followed with an inspiring message, encouraging the completers to uphold the University’s mission of delivering transformative, inclusive, and service-oriented education.
The keynote address was delivered by Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo, CESE, Regional Director of the Commission on Higher Education-National Capital Region (CHED-NCR). His message left a profound impact as he reminded the completers that teaching is not merely a career, but a lifelong mission to inspire minds, empower individuals, and transform society.
As University and College officials conferred the certificates, each completer stepped forward as a symbol of perseverance, growth, and achievement. The message from the Completers’ Representative reflected the shared journey of this pioneering batch, highlighting their collective determination and affirming that when passion meets purpose, meaningful impact begins.
The ceremony concluded with words of wisdom from Dr. Isagani M. Tano, OIC Vice President for Academic Affairs, followed by a dignified recessional that marked the culmination of a milestone etched in the hearts of all in attendance.
The 67 completers now move forward not only as program graduates, but as future pillars of education—equipped with the knowledge, values, and commitment to nurture minds, uplift communities, and shape generations to come. Their journey as educators begins with purpose, guided by competence and driven by service.
