Quezon City University (QCU) proudly joins the 2025 ASEAN Cyber Shield (ACS) Hacking Contest, a four-day international cybersecurity gathering happening on November 18–22, 2025.

This prestigious event brings together emerging cybersecurity talents and professionals from across the ASEAN region for an intensive program that includes the ACS Hacking Contest, ACS Bootcamp, fireside chats, networking sessions, and opening and closing ceremonies.

We are proud to announce that Mr. Yenstd Symond Olayon Francisco, a student from the College of Computer Studies, will represent the Philippines as a competitor in the 3rd ASEAN Cyber Shield Hacking Contest.

The event is organized by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) and sponsored by the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF), bringing together key players committed to strengthening cybersecurity resilience across the region.

For QCU, this opportunity highlights our growing presence in the regional cybersecurity space. Participating in this international gathering allows the university to engage with top experts, expand partnerships, and gain deeper insights into emerging digital security challenges within ASEAN. It supports QCU’s mission to equip students with the skills needed to thrive in today’s fast-evolving digital world.

Let’s cheer for Mr. Francisco as he represents QCU and the Philippines on the international stage!
