QCU Signs MOU with Tongmyong University in Busan, South Korea
Quezon City University (QCU) formally strengthened its international linkages through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tongmyong University of Busan, South Korea, during the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) Global Conference 2025 held on September 25, 2025.
Representing QCU President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, Mr. Angelito P. Bautista Jr., Director of the Research, Extension, Planning, and Linkages -Research Management Office (REPL-RMO), participated in the ceremonial signing alongside presidents and representatives from various universities worldwide.
The partnership aims to open up opportunities for collaborative research, faculty and student exchanges, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and innovation-driven programs aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It also reflects QCU’s ongoing commitment to strengthen its global engagement while remaining grounded in its mission of providing accessible and quality higher education for Quezon City residents.
The MoU signing was part of the international networking and partnership-building activities of the WURI Global Conference 2025, an annual gathering of innovative universities worldwide held from September 24-26 at Busan, South Korea.
