QCU is Recognized for Strong Community Engagement at Sauyo’s 50th Year Celebration
Quezon City University (QCU) is recognized in the 50th Founding Anniversary celebration of Barangay Sauyo, Quezon City, during the Gabi ng Parangal held as part of the festivities on June 28, 2025.
The event carried the theme “Ginintuang Dekada ng Kasaysayan, Pamayanang Nagkakaisa tungo sa Pag-unlad”, highlighting five decades of community solidarity and progress. As one of Barangay Sauyo’s valued partners in community development, QCU was honored through Barangay Resolution No. 244, Series of 2025, in acknowledgment of its continued collaboration with the barangay in various joint community extension initiatives.
The recognition was received by the QCU REPL Extension Management Office—Lenard F. Bien, Acting Director, together with Maria Lourdes D. Pariñas and Rozi Mae Broqueza—reaffirming the university’s commitment to responsive and inclusive community engagement.
