QCU Engages Senior High School Students at Regional Work Immersion Fair
Quezon City University (QCU) participated in the Regional Work Immersion Fair 2026 on September 18, 2026, at Lagro High School, strengthening its engagement with senior high school students and partner schools across Quezon City.
Representing QCU were Ms. Gracia Amor Tamondong and Ms. Rozi Mae Broqueza, who engaged with students and participants and shared information about the University’s academic programs, work immersion opportunities, and potential career pathways.
The fair brought together senior high school students, school heads, work immersion coordinators, and representatives from various schools across Quezon City, along with partners from different sectors. The activity provided students with opportunities to explore options for higher education, work immersion, and future careers.
Through its participation, QCU continues to strengthen partnerships with schools and communities while helping young people make informed preparations for higher education, employment, and their future careers.
The 2026 recognition builds on Joy is a Farm’s growing international profile. In the 2025 CityNet SDG Awards, the initiative was named among the Top 3 overall and received the Breakthrough Innovation of the Year award.
Through Joy is a Farm, Quezon City and QCU continue to demonstrate how urban agriculture can support sustainable development while creating meaningful opportunities for communities to participate in building a greener and more resilient city.
