In a continued effort to foster global academic dialogue and highlight Filipino contributions to education, science, and social development, Quezon City University (QCU)—in partnership with the Asia-Pacific Consortium of Educators and Researchers (APCORE) and Brazil’s Universidade Estadual de Alagoas (UNEAL)—officially announces the Call for Papers for the Philippine Working Group of the 15th National Meeting of Culture, Science and Technology (ENCCULT 2025).

This prestigious international conference will be held virtually on September 26, 2025, under the general theme: “Education and Postgraduate Studies in the Digital Age: Ethics in Production.”

The Philippine Working Group will focus specifically on the theme: “Philippine Perspectives, Innovations, and Research in Education, Science and Social Development within a Global and Digital Context.”

ENCCULT 2025 aims to gather voices from across disciplines and cultures to explore the evolving landscape of digital education and ethical challenges in scientific knowledge production. The event will feature paper presentations, roundtables, and workshops across 15 interdisciplinary Working Groups, showcasing innovations from the Philippines and beyond.

Call for Abstracts Now Open

Educators, researchers, graduate students, and cultural practitioners are invited to submit original research, case studies, and reflective papers. Abstracts should be 250–300 words and highlight the objective, methodology, key findings, and relevance to the conference theme or working group.

The submission deadline is August 10, 2025, via this link: https://forms.gle/CtonscEq9YSPGfYg9. Registration and participation are free for APCORE members.

Organizers emphasized that novel and innovative contributions will be prioritized, especially those tackling themes such as:

·      Digital transformation in higher education

·      AI-assisted research and ethical authorship

·      Postgraduate access and equity

·      Local knowledge and intercultural dialogue in digital education

The Philippine Working Group will also underscore the role of institutions like DOST-NCR in advancing inclusive innovation and sustainability through research.
