Innovation in Action: Japanese Delegates Visit QCU for Research Collaboration

Quezon City University (QCU) welcomed delegates from Leave a Nest Philippines and partner Japanese startups on November 7, 2025, for a special learning visit ahead of the Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference (HIC) Philippines 2025. Held at the QCU San Bartolome Campus, the visit aimed to deepen collaborative efforts in technology, sustainability, and urban innovation.

The delegation toured key university facilities, including the Robotics Laboratory and the Center for Urban Agriculture and Innovation (CUAI), where ongoing research initiatives and potential joint projects were showcased.

QCU President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza joined the visit and expressed her appreciation for the sustained partnership, emphasizing how Filipino–Japanese collaboration continues to spark meaningful, interdisciplinary solutions that benefit both education and industry.

This visit further strengthens QCU’s growing role as a hub for innovation and global cooperation.
