Awards and Recognitions

  • QCU attained ALCUCOA Level III accreditation milestones, including BS Entrepreneurship (Dec 2024–Dec 2027) and later Level III recognitions reported for BS Information Technology and BS Industrial Engineering (post-2025 survey visit).
  • QCU’s engineering/IT students, backed by university leadership, represented the Philippines at the 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship (VEX U) in Dallas, placing 15th out of 63 in the Skills Competition; earlier, QCU also placed 2nd Runner-Up in the Philippine VEX Robotics Skills Competition 2024.
  • Quezon City University’s “Joy is a Farm” received global recognition at the 2025 CityNet SDG Awards in Denpasar, Indonesia—winning Breakthrough Innovation and placing 2nd overall among top awardees.
  • QCU’s “No Woman Left Behind” reintegration pathway earned international benchmarking when QCU was named a finalist in THE Awards Asia 2025 (Outstanding Support for Students) for “Education as Pathway for Reintegration: No Woman Left Behind.”
  • QCU bagged two recognitions at the USAID Opportunity 2.0 Youth and Partners Summit 2024: Most Innovative Extension Program Award (Sagip OSY) and Most Outstanding Youth Champion – NCR Hub
  • QCU received the Water Warrior Award for Water Education at the World Water Day PH Awards 2025
  • QCU received a CHED ICONS 2025 recognition in the Sustainability category, with the same coverage citing QCU’s inclusion in the THE Impact Rankings 2025 (1501+ tier).
  • QCU was included in the 2024 and 2025 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings and the 2025 World University Ranking for Innovation (WURI)
