BECEd Pre-Service Teachers Embrace Their Calling at QCU Pinning Ceremony

SDG 3 4 10 11 17

The College of Education celebrated a truly momentous milestone as the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) pre-service teachers embraced their calling during the Pinning Ceremony at the QCU Auditorium.

More than just a ceremony, this meaningful rite of passage marks their transition—from students learning within classrooms to future educators ready to touch lives, shape dreams, and nurture the next generation.

The event, themed “Nurturing Hearts, Shaping Futures: Empowering Future Early Childhood Educators through Service and Compassion,” highlighted the extraordinary role early childhood teachers play as builders of hope and champions of lifelong learning.

University President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza delivered a powerful Keynote Message, while OIC VPAA Dr. Isagani M. Tano offered words of encouragement. The ceremony was further enriched by our dedicated faculty and the proud parents and guardians who have supported our students every step of the way.

Special gratitude was extended to Dr. Randel D. Estacio, Dean of the College of Education and BECEd Program Chair, for his warm and inspiring Welcoming Remarks, and to Ms. Dianne D. Lumibao, Area Chairperson of Social Science, for her heartfelt Closing Remarks that beautifully concluded the program.
