QCU Signs MOU with 24 Indonesian Universities at the Sidelines of the APCORE-PIKSI 2023 Hybrid International Conference
Quezon City University led by its President, Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with 24 Indonesian Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) on August 28, 2023, during the pre-conference activity of the APCORE-PIKSI 2023 Hybrid International Conference at Grand Asrilia Hotel Convention and Restaurant in Bandung, Indonesia.
The signing of the MoU was officially opened with messages from Dr. HK Prihartono Ah, President of the Academic International Consortium of Indonesia and Director of Politeknic Piksi Ganesha, and Dr. Racidon P. Bernarte, Managing Director of the Asia-Pacific Consortium of Researchers and Educators, Inc.

The meeting continued with the official photo opportunity of the Indonesian universities and other Philippine HEIs and organizations as well as the giving of tokens of appreciation.

For her part, Dr. Atienza believes that the signing of the MOU with her Indonesian counterparts is a testament to QCU’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with universities in the Southeast Asian Region as part of the University’s internationalization efforts.
“We do this to ensure that QCU realizes its vision of becoming the number one local university of employable graduates in the Philippines,” Dr. Atienza stated.
The APCORE-PIKSI 2023 Hybrid International Conference will be held from August 29-31, 2023 and QCU serves as one of the co-hosting partners of the event that will be attended by more than 700 researchers and academicians onsite and 1,300 participants online.
