QCU Pres. Dr. Theresita Atienza as Speaker During the APEC International Conference in Taiwan last Nov. 3 to 4

QCU President Dr. Theresita Atienza was invited to speak on the “Digital Transformation of Production Technology: Experience Sharing of Digital Twin Technology in Agriculture and Fisheries” during the APEC International Conference on Leveraging Digital Twin Technology to Enhance Supply Chain Productivity for a Resilient Economy held in Taipei, Taiwan on November 3-4, 2022. This international conference provided Dr. Atienza and QCU the opportunity to present the urban farming initiatives of the university and the city, including the GrowQC and the Joy of Urban Farming programs of Mayor Joy Belmonte. This also paved the way to link up with farming and technology organizations like the AgriGaia Social Enterprise in Taiwan.
